The lifespan of black carbon varies from few days to few weeks. Is that enough for it to find its way to all glaciers, including South Pole?
This obviously has a lot to do with winds. So if BC gets to all glaciers, is it during regular winds, or only due to anomalia - for example storms or forest fires?
